I’m a 30 year old, single, and fabulous woman. A hopeless romantic stuck in a confusing dramatic cycle to find my heart. I’ve been single for most of my adult life which is longer than I’ll ever admit to in public since the general perception of a single successful woman is: what’s wrong with her, whore, slut, weirdo. Well, there’s nothing wrong with me and none of those terms fit me either. I know what I need and I have yet to find the one man that can give it to me. So, until I meet my Mr. Right, I’ll have fun with all the Mr. Wrongs while trying to figure out what this love and relationship stuff is all about. Read my blog. It might make you realize how lucky you are if you have found your love. If you’re single out there you might just realize that you aren’t living the most crazy single life. I might just be a little entertaining too. Read it. What do you have to lose?

Stumbled upon your blog after doing a Google search, when I was searching for a reference for inappropriate conversations at work. Sounds like a unique search, but it was due to riding back with two married female co-workers and has innocent conversations with them about body parts etc. All in innocence, but I doubt HR would approve and I was going to send them a joke email. Anyways, you sound interesting and just thought I’d pass the time, since I was a bit bored today. I see you mentioned SD in your blog, but I couldn’t locate where you are from…

You have to read carefully to figure out where I’m from. I can’t give away all my secrets that easily. :)

Ah, the thrill of the hunt (I think it’s supposed to be chase, but I’m using hunt in this instance). You said 2 hour time difference in one post, so unless your friend was calling from Hawaii, that would narrow you down to the Central or Eastern time zone. I’ve now narrowed you down to be in a city where approximately 67% of the US population lives… Am I being UScentric?

That was harder than I thought it would be, you’re very good at veiling facts. I was hoping for a restaurant that I could Google, no luck… Then there were the references to taking the train to Chicago (which I have done too), so I had you in the Midwest… but tickets to a baseball game gave you away. I grew up in the same state.

I fell into your blog about three hours ago and just looked up. I’m not sure how you are so intimate about the details of your life. It’s quite enthralling if not a little exciting, honestly. There is so much that I would love to write down but I am afraid of the consequences. You are very brave.
One day perhaps I’ll find a girl as shockingly intelligent and confident, while still being vulnerable and human. Keep it up tS.

Thanks for the encouragement. It’s funny. I started this blog sort of as a journal. I never thought so many different people would stumble upon it from all over the place. It’s great knowing that my little mishaps can entertain and maybe even help a few others. Thank you. :)

Hey, stumbled onto your blog as well, I really like it !! It has kept me entertained now for the past 45 minutes or so here. (in a good way, of course)
Assuming you can see my email address (I don’t want to publish it where everyone who reads this blog can see it), can you send me an email? I have a small proposition for you, that I think you might like !

By chance are you dating a older man in Aurora, IL who has been divorced twice with a 13 year old son?
I think we may be dating the same guy.
November 13, 2007 at 5:20 pm
No. I’m not dating or seeing or…anyone who lives in IL.

I think we live in the same city. I am wondering if have even dated the same guys since our stories are so similar..I am sick of dating!
I love your blog. It is nice to see I am not alone in this!

Just found your blog…. Makes me laugh. Also a 30 something single - in Cape Town, South Africa - and it is exactly the same here… Just said goodbye to another Mr Wrong this evening. Post again soon x

Came across your blog and enjoyed reading it. And, for what it is or isn’t worth, Dr. Chicago sounds like a nice guy, but it also sounds like he only has one thing on his mind. Keep searching though, I finally found the love of my life. :)
